I grew up one town away from Manassas. My folks still live in the area. This sniper is one screwed up guy who needs to be stopped.

The gunmen (were he smart) would start roating guns/bullets to make things harder to track.

Where's that freeper that owes me $10.00 for the bet. If you read this, send the $10.00 donation to Jim Rob in care of Joe Hadenuf.

Question: How many kinds of rifles are there chambered for .223? Hundreds, right?

I'm late getting to these threads today, but has anyone mentioned yet that there was a suspicious shooting yesterday afternoon on a Manassas highway? A truck had it's driver's side window blown out, traffic was stopped, FBI, ATF, etc. I'm looking at the AP and Reuters photos on my newsdesk here at work; here's one caption:
Traffic backs up as law enforcement investigators from state and federal agencies work at the site of a commercial truck's driver-side window being shattered, in the early afternoon near Manassas, Virginia October 9, 2002. Investigators are not yet saying that the incident was related to other shootings in the Washington D.C. area but police agencies throughout the Washington area remain in a state of high alert. My apologies if this has been discussed already.
