Your posts about Florida's 911 system's efficiency has me wondering about the quality of law enforcement in the Maryland and D.C. area. I was never particularly impressed with Ramsey and this Moose fellow isn't doing much better. I'd love to offer them the services of our local sheriff who is running for re-election. His ads running right now remind us that his murder solution rate for his tenure (8 or more years) is 100%.

I don't think any law enforcement is prepared to deal with this guy. I mean,what do you do? There aren't enough cops in the country to stake out every place this guy could shoot from. Now I do wonder, the child was 13, was his mother walking him into school? Do parents do that for a 13 year old? That is curious and makes me wonder if indeed this may be unrelated.

I get flamed sometimes simply because I'm "floriduh". I think the local law enforcement is handling the media as far as the investigation goes. Beyond that, I think you know what I'm sayin'. I don't want to tip anybody off here.
