Question -- in Youths of God, the word God may just be an "Americanized" translation of Allah -- but an OBL tape could be a signal to up attacks (not sure of the timing af the tape and the tanker incident) -- today is the anniversary of the beginning of the Afghanistan bombings. Hmmm.... when did we start the Gulf War ?? Have to check something in Sammon's new book--hang on....

That could be, too. Perhaps Allah was originally used and the translator interpreted it, when the user didn't mean for it to be translated.
