I think you're right... And like I heard earlier today...it's impossible to see patterns in the mind of a madman...he may see patterns though. :-\ Or something like that.

What if he handed the gun off to another cell to throw the neighbors off. If he is home at the time of the Friday shooting, suspicious neighbors will "know" he is not the sniper. He gets the gun back over the weekend, and starts again on Monday.

I know it sounds farfetched, but I think these guys are probably Muslim terrorists working on a new phase of their was against us. I really hope this is just one guy or pair, but if others see the success they are having, this type of killing may begin to spring up elsewhere.

Don't think #7 was a running scared hit...Connect 7 & 8 and you're close to and Parallel with the east boundary of DC. If they follow their previous pattern, the next hit would be near Suitland/Capitol Heights area. They are circling DC proper on the east at this time...the side of DC with all our major government buildings excepting the Pentagon.
