You could be right about not wanting to be identified. But one victim funeral openly invited the press to the viewing, giving date and time. Still I've heard no name. At any rate, it's more a rhetorical question I guess.
The shame about the weekend thing, which I'm sure the LE has noted if stupid me noticed, is we have to sit and wait through God knows how many killings in the coming week to see if the pattern holds for next weekened.
The Governor's name is Glendenning, more properly Spendenning. He's a terrible person, worse than Clinton if you can imagine. I think the state's leader should making an appearance but hey, who knows, maybe they're scared that such a thing would further un-nerve people.
The truth as I see it is the LE and government have no idea how to play this thing and are doing it by ear. Witness that stupid police comment last week that the school children were safe. Obviously they were not and I've no idea why such a thing was said other than being a lie foisted upon us idiots to keep us calm.
One more musing since my last list....the number of victims in a given day seems to be decreasing. I think this is because the citizens are waaaaay more observant than they were last week. Whoever's doing this is very skilled I say, not at all some nut case. Guy had to be sitting on his hands the entire weekend. Can't imagine a nut case doing this. It's so "ordered" somehow. And for sure the guy knows how NOT to get caught.
Which seems to me that some sort of "training", I know what or where, was involved. There'd have been many more killings I argue but Maryland citizens are paying attention to everything unusual in their surround. And STILL the guy managed to get off one shot.
