Has it been discussed as to why there were two bullets fired? Thats pretty good shooting to hit him twice before he was down. Or maybe he was down for the second hit? Did someone hear two shots? It's possible to have two exit wounds from one bullet, as the projectile deforms and tears into pieces (often the core and jacket separate) on its path through the victim.

The "two bullet/exit wound" stories are both outdated. Single wound, bullet still in the kid.
