Well, I am not going to get on him about his speech, since it isn't unusual to make errors under a lot of pressure. Besides, I like the word "disgrumbled." It is quite descriptive.

I know, he's under pressure. But he doesn't always come across well when he isn't mispronouncing words. He's also my sister's "boss" (as she called him). She works for Montgomery Co. PD. She said he isn't coming across well either.

You could keep "disgrumbled"!. My family kept "floobin". My sister-in-law misheard me say something about "that bloomin thing" and she asked "what's floobin?" :)
