I still am in favor of American workers over foreign shipping companies. Should these guys lose their jobs just because a foreign company wants cheap labor and huge profits?

You're paying for these bloated union thugs in increased costs for goods.

Lots of other folks are losing jobs when companies downsize due to technology improvements. Why should these goons be exempt?

Everybody wants huge profits and cheap labor. Who are you to tell an employer how much money he can make?

What foreign shipping companies pay American workers is peanuts compared to their profits. I don't feel sorry for them, they can afford it. The longshoremen want to work, they are waiting to return to their jobs. It's the greedy foreign companies who are trying to eliminate American jobs. Why would you favor foreign companies over American workers?
