Precisely, This is exactly the lesson the FLSC learned in 2000. Had they adhered to the legislative guidelines, and not changed the rules, which delayed the process they would have had enough time for the contest phase and would probably prevailed in a legitmate recount effort.

With their brilliance, they screwed themselves and Algore's only chance for a valid recount. Ironically, this was pointed out to the FLSC, but hey failed to hear.
