Let's also try calling it "quid-pro-quo." If you do something for me (like vote for a forfeited candidate), then I'll do something for you (like appoint another Democrat). One illegal act for another.

Yep. "Bait and Switch" is an excellent way to present it, and the GOP is already speaking in those terms.
