The NJ law email from the NRSC was posted about two hours ago, so the Pub lawyers have been on this for some time. As all FReepers know, Pub lawyers eat dem lawyers for breakfast!

Yep, he sure does. Richard Bey on The Buzz (local ABC radio NYC) keeps harping away at Forrester along the lines of "but I just want NJ voters to have a choice" - meaning that the Dems should be allowed to replace Torricelli as a candidate even though it is past the deadline. Uh hello Richard, the only ones denying anyone a choice is the Dems! They're the ones removing their choice. If they wanted to provide a DIFFERENT choice, they should have acted within the law and done it by the 16th.

But like I said, its not as if they care about the law. Same old story - don't like the way the game is going? Change the rules!
