Interesting story about your Iranian friend.

A stockbroker here on my left of liberal island is from Iran, sent away to USA as a teenager for safety's sake by his family when Shah deposed. He's a good American family man, great capitalist, and of course, fears for the safety of his family back in Iran if things explode there. Complex situation for people like this. And there are many in USA. I forgot to ask whether he's still a muslim, but I do know he's a Mariner's fan. Must count for something!

He may or may not be Muslim. There are alot of Christians who are of various ethnicities too. It will be really remarkable if the Bush Admin can construct a regime change strategy for the mideast that delivers peace, stability, democratic change, and low casualties. I'll just have to keep praying for our guys.
