In one of the most forceful Democratic condemnations of President Bush's foreign policy, former Vice President Al Gore warned in San Francisco on Monday that a pre-emptive strike on Iraq would distract America from its war on terrorism and "weaken our ability to lead the world."

Gore is so jealous of George W. Bush, he's got a rash...It makes him SPEAK rashly, THINK rashly, and BEHAVE rashly...

"That has been squandered in a year's time and replaced with great fear, anxiety and uncertainty around the world, not at what the terrorist network is going to do, but at what we are going to do"

Fear is good. Let them know that the USA is not to be trifled with. I want to be feared by my enemies, it is much safer than being held in contempt.

The more Algore talked the more aparent it got that he didn't know what he was talking about. Of course if some major American city suddenly started glowing in the dark, Algor wouldn't be in the chain of responsibility. His talk is really cheap.

Did you know in June 2000 Gore was singing an entirely new tune? I heard on Hannity's talk show yesterday that Gore was quoted as saying we needed to remove Saddam from power. Now, he has something different. Sounds like he's as much of a flip-flopper as his former boss. BIG SURPRISE.

There is no doubt he'll be running for President in 2004. I for one would be overjoyed if he becomes the Democrat candidate. The voters have learned that Bush is a much better alternative to the weasel Gore.

>>Gore later told reporters the Bush administration had been guilty of a "do- it-alone, cowboy-type reaction to foreign affairs," <<

"In one of the most forceful Democratic condemnations of President Bush's foreign policy..."

Forceful? Forceful!!? It was like being whipped with a wet noodle. "The most forceful Democratic" whatever is one of those totally worthless commendations like:
"Greatest French Victory of the 20th Century" or
"Best-tasting whale-blubber" or
"Most energetic stamp-collector" or
"Best Buffalo Bills Super Bowl appearance" or
Well, you get the idea and feel free to add your own choice commendations.

"I just really appreciated what he had to say -- and I think he had to say it," said Susie Tompkins Buell, the co-founder of Esprit and one of the nation's most generous Democratic donors.

Anthrax kills rich liberals, too.

An ape hidding behind an "insult" is calling Bush a Cowboy. Gees, Gore, can't you find a better dress and hidding mask? He is an ape that cannot even hide well behind his own rhetoric. He is the failed ape, a darwin award of the Democrats' animal kingdom.

"I also support the President's stated goals in the next phases of the war against terrorism as he laid them out in the State of the Union. ... Even if we give first priority to the destruction of terrorist networks, and even if we succeed, there are still governments that could bring us great harm. And there is a clear case that one of these governments in particular represents a virulent threat in a class by itself: Iraq. As far as I am concerned, a final reckoning with that government should be on the table."

-Al Gore, in Feb. 12, 2002 speech to Council on Foreign Relations.

Source

On May 23,2000 vice president and presidential candidate Al Gore made the following remarks about Iraq:

"We have made it clear that it is our policy to see Saddam Hussein gone. We have sought coalitions of opponents to challenge his power from within or without. I have met with the Iraqi resistance, and I have invited them to meet with me again next month – when I will encourage them to further unite in their efforts against Saddam. We have maintained sanctions in the face of rising criticism, while improving the oil-to-food program to help the Iraqi people directly. We have used force when necessary. And we will not let up in our efforts to free Iraq from Saddam's rule. Should he think of challenging us, I would strongly advise against it. As a Senator, I voted for the use of force. As Vice President, I supported the use of force. And if entrusted with the Presidency, my resolve will never waver. "

If Al Gore had been President at the time of the 9/11 attacks- we'd still be over in Afghanistan negotiating with Bin Laden!

Yet, Gore drew a line -- forcefully -- when an audience member shouted out that Americans had more to fear from Bush than Hussein.

Oh yeah, that Gore, he is so patriotic, cares so deeply for America that he threw the country into turmoil when he LOST the Election, and wants to again when we are at war!!

Hey Al.. tell that to the troops out there who are IN THIS WAR!! Tell THEM you don't support their commander in chief, nor them or America!! Because ONCE again Al Gore is putting HIMSELF before the best interest of our country!!

Go ahead Al, incite treason and riots. Thats right up your alley AL!!! What a puke!

Look at who he's telling this to...SAN FRANCISCO!!!

Does it not prove Gore has no guts? He might as well be preaching it in front of a mirror!

If he thinks he has the intestinal fortitude Bush has, tell him to preach that in Houston, Birmingham, or any other RED SECTION OF THE ELECTION DAY MAP (95% of the real estate in America) that he DIDN'T WIN in 2000!

Yes, it DOES prove he has no guts. In fact, it has served to remind us how lucky we have a MORAL President who isn't a coward.

But then Al professes to be a great hero, after all he served in Nam with a dozen body gaurds around him for all of 4 months!!

So he doesn't like cowboys, huh? The democrats have made HATE SPEECH of everything in our culture. I guess they hate the settling of the Wild West and the cowboys and farmers and settlers as well. And better include ranchers, THEY are definitely bad - grazing their cattle on all the l a n d which the enviro-nazis covet.

They hate the big farmer - that's a no no, but I guess they also hate the small farmer because they initiated an inheritance tax which breaks up his already small farm. And don't even get started with the eveil hunters...

And they HATE the words dad, daddy, Jr., mommy, little brother. All these words are used as missiles of hate speech as in
"JR Bush is just like his daddy." "Jeb and his "boys." etc etc (said with disgust and curled lip.)

In reality - liberals HATE - they are filled with it. They hate everything clean and good and of American culture around them. Animals are better than people. Thugs and dictators are "brave" to attack us. The citizens of this country are awful if they are white, middle America is stupid. If never ends.

And what do they support? Well, NAMBLA comes to mind. Elite college professors who say the "white race" should be "exterminated."

How could anyone support such mental illness?
