Why this resolution? Two words: Colin Powell.

It demanded the complete cessation by all sides of "all acts of violence, including all acts of terror" and asked the Palestinian Authority to bring to justice those responsible for "terrorist acts." The UN has repeated this same sentence for how many years now? I've heard it at least a thousand times.

There's only one building left and Israel had already said they weren't planning to destroy that.

So you're saying that we introduced a resolution demanding that Israel cease and desist after they had already accomplished everything they wanted to do?That's what the article says. They had already stopped the demolition yesterday.
As for the rest of the resolution
Washington's version also called on Israel to withdraw from Palestinian cities
you'll notice there's no timetable involved.

I'm really disappointed with the U.S government's decision to reward PLO terror and Arafart's leadership. This move to condemn and isolate Israel will have the opposite effect of what the world hopes; it will speed up the expulsion of Arafart and the Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders. Until now Israel had refrained from it because Israel would take a beating in world opinion, but since Israel is already paying a price of total political isolation now, it stands to reason an expulsion decision today would not make matters worse and might even improve them. Regardless of what the U.N or the U.S do or do not do, the PLO/Hamas as histoire.

Israel is no friend of ours. Something about ordering attacks on the USS Liberty in 86, Pollard, Rich and ClintonToo bad you're wasting all that hate and anger on the wrong people. Blame the prick in DC who insisted the Liberty not withdraw. That's the idiot who refused to grasp the gravity of the situation. Had we been in Israel's shoes, we'd have done exactly the same thing.
As for Pollard, of course they have spies here, just like everyone else. We have spies over there, too. Stop being so sanctimonious and pretending it's something outrageous.
As for Clinton and Rich, I hardly think you can blame Israel for them. In fact, I wouldn't blame them for being angry with us after all Clinton's meddling in their elections.

The Kaaba?

Not only that.... But look at who is running this (Reuters)
Look at the quotes and tell me if you see the justification for this title.
This is just another example of "Reuters Spin"
By this time tomorrow the TRUTH will dis-credit Reuters as usual. Israel has no better friend than GWB. They've said so themselves.

This is idiotic.
We deny the Israelis the right of self-preservation while kowtowing to the Islamists.

It sure is going to be interesting when Israel starts pumping oil and gas from a region that is in political dispute...the Shomron.
And if the oil and gas reserves under the dead sea are exactly what the data projects...for sure the Arab world will really become unhinged.
"Allah has given the Jews oil...this can never be"!
Big kick in the head Hamdi...big hit to the family jewels!!
Oil in the Shomron
Dead sea reserves

The Kaaba? I always wondered why those buildings have a crescent moon on them. Now I know. Temples to the moon god.
