Hell, we use pipe bombs for fishing down here. What's the big deal, y'all?
Still haven't figured out the car battery?

LOL! I see I got one too many only's in there- but you know what I mean. Little pink houses for you and me. Ah but aint that America...

I grew up in Griffin (Spalding county- next county over from Lamar Co). A larger town by an order of magnitude or so but still bush league even compared to Macon. Our biggest claim to fame would have been Willie Gault (former wide receiver), Freddie Gilbert and Jessie Tuggle. Jeff Treadway had a respectable career in baseball too. Not bad for a town of 35,000.

Still, wasn't ever going to be enough for someone with a restless soul. I had to get out and get going. Been going ever since. Always get a hankering to go back, but I'm not sure I'd fit in any more. Reading about something like this though, sure makes me homesick. I can imagine all too well what this must've been like for 'em...
