You are correct! Discussion threads on Friday had lots of questions and speculation. I'll try to find the links.
I think one of the most suspicious things about the "family" press conference was how did they even know their relative was involved? The sister stated they'd heard nothing from them....so how did she know they were the perps. Someone in that family bunch also said they saw on TV that the police had roughed up the men. Big problems here.
The media or FDLE NEVER gave the names of the guys until they were released. They were detained at 1-1:30 am (dark) and not shown at all on TV until released. Beatings could not have been televised even if they had occurred!

I can assure you that if there wasn't anything in that car BOTH dogs wouldn't have alerted. I can also tell you that whether they were bomb sniffing dogs or drug sniffing dogs they don't alert on a innocent doctor's lab coat. Especially if they're medical STUDENTS. If that was the case every doctor, pharmacist, medical student, etc. would be stopped in airports. That part of the story never made sense to me at all.

As somebody indicated...as medical students, they may have had access to drugs...if these were drug-sniffing dogs....

What I simply can't understand, nor believe, is that some FREEPERS are defending these punks, bashing Eunice Stone, and condemning FREEPERS who believe Eunice and not the punks. Looks as though some CINOs have been thoroughly PC brainwashed , or aren't Conservatives at all. That's bull. There are objective facts, and conflicting testimony as to those facts. None of this has a single thing to do with being conservative or not. I don't know who's telling the truth and neither do you, so quit wagging your finger, and that goes for the rest of the knee-jerk-rah-rah-Eunice-the-Muslims-are-obviously-liars crowd.
I don't have a problem with people having an opinion about what they think is probably true, or more likely to be true. But I do have a problem when people begin acting like clymers because someone is willing to look at the other side, or both sides, of a moot issue. Fact is, if I were forced to place a bet on the matter, I would bet on the accuracy of Eunice's account, but I'm not being compelled, and won't be compelled, to make a final or presumptive judgement unless and until the facts so compel me.
You have an opinion, and that's fine, but either get down off your high-horse and debate it fairly, without the "CINO" ad hominems, or let it be and ride off.

Thanks...you have confirmed what I suspect. The dogs are a big key in this story. As you say
both dogs...and I believe
both cars.

Stone did the right thing. Now these three "wanna be Afgan's" are trying to use the liberal media to smear an American woman who felt it her duty to possibly provent another horror like 911. Now, do we let her stand alone or do we protect one of our own?

Perhaps you haven't read as many posts, as I have, concerniong this matter. There have been FREEPERS who have condemned Eunice and said that the med student yobs were far more credible. One, in particular, has continually posted a lie ... that Eunice said that she overheard them speaking in Arabic.
There ARE CINOS on this site. They aren't Conservatives at all ; yet, they claim that they are. You don't own this forum, so don't attempt to give me any orders, which don't appear to be posted rules, by the owner. GOT THAT ?
Oh gee, another damned , little Holier Than Thou , know-it-all. Have you seen my knees jerking ? You use a crytal ball or tarot cards or an Ouija board ? Take a good look , at yourself , in the nearest mirror, to see a hypocritical finger wagger, dear. :-)

If they did they weren't legal drugs. I don't know any medical students who have access to drugs that would alert drug sniffing dogs. That doesn't make any sense.
Think about this...a pharmacist who works with drugs everyday goes to the Federal building where there are drug & bomb sniffing dogs. Wouldn't that person be stopped if that were the case? The same with the medical students...besides don't medical students leave their lab coats in the hospital or clinic for cleaning?

Anyway, it says in the article above they were bomb-sniffing dogs. There's probably a difference. Maybe a dog-trainer will comment.
Don't know, don't know, kind of like the Clarence Thomas-Anita Hill thing.
Just can't see Ashcroft letting them go if there was any doubt at all.
To: glorygirl
I wonder if they are being watched after they were released? LE would have to have a reason to hold them but they could also be watching them and waiting for more information.

O.K. maybe I over reacted. Obviously I would have the same problem with anyone taking the position that Eunice must be lying as I would with someone taking that position vis-a-vis the med students. The dispute concerns a matter of fact, not of political ideology. In bristling at your incidental CINO labeling I was overlooking your justified criticism of the dogmatic anti-Eunice contigent. I only want to hear all the opinions and incidental facts on this matter. It seem way too soon to me to be shutting one side down.

Thanks for the sort of retraction. Yes, you did go over the top. What kind of a " Conservative " would cxlaim that Eunice not only lied, but that he heard her say, what no one else did, and that the 3 shlubs only began claiming
tonight There ARE known facts, in this case; as well as posted on FR lies, misquotes, and opinions. I won't stand for someone/s telling me that a fact isn't a fact and that only THEY know what was said. Neither do I respect anyone claiming to be a Conservative, talking like a Dem, a full blown Marxist, or a moderate Dem. I have seen some do that here. They are CINOS . Case closed. :-)

It is about 10 hours from Atlanta to Tamp, and about 3 hours from Tampa to Naples. Add in time for gas, restrooms, and meals, and there you have it.

In Eunice's very first FNC interview, her phone exclusive w/John Scott, she not only didn't mention Arabic but she even SAID they spoke in ENGLISH. I am certain she said those words.I am also certain she spoke those words.
Because our son lives in south Florida, I was particularly interested in this story and watched Fox News on Friday from 6 AM until 8 PM central time.
Eunice was asked several times about what language they were speaking and she repeatedly answered "English." She also said that they spoke without any accent. When asked if they spoke to each other in Arabic, she said that they did not.

Its about 650 miles from Atlanta to Miami. Like you I would not drive from Atlanta to Miami via Naples. Why not go via Orlando and the Florida Turnpike? Too many police on that route? Any visitor to Florida knows about the police around the Orlando area.
So the question becomes whats was so important on the west coast of Florida?

I want an answer on this too. FOX news reported Friday that one of the vehicles had a tag that didn't match the car. They were reporting from a house in a Chicago suburb, supposedly where the owner of the car lived. Now there's nothing being said about it.
