I don't think that this was some kind of double-bank shot with the aim of making Bush look bad.

I think that this was a straightforward attempt to steal the election.

Play #5 from the 'Rat playbook (there are only five plays, BTW), is to throw enough dirt in the air that you can use the ensuing confusion to stuff the ballot boxes to steal a close election. I think this is so routine that some of these poll workers hardly realize they are doing anything wrong. This is just the way they do it down there.

The only reason Floriduh gets so much bad press is because they have had close elections. Close elections in any other state would have the same problems in predominantly 'Rat districts. It's just that they don't bother to make a stink in blow-outs.

Yes, FL elections have been stolen for a long time. We have managed to avoid the stereotype, however, unlike Chicago.

If Jeb is smart, and I think he is, and they really try to go after him, he will take the Supervisors of Elections in the counties that have had NO discrepancies in their count, either now or 2 years ago, and suggest that they run these three counties in Nov. and relieve the current idiots of their jobs.

Those guys are probably Republicans, and they use the optical bubble method, not punch cards or this ridiculous, very unsecure computer system.

And watch the Dems howl!

I agree with your assessment of Florida politics.

The problem is that the Dem. Party shouldn't be doing it to each other!

How many of the anti-Reno voters are going to turn out for her if she does pull it out?

I have no doubt that her people tried to steal it in the areas she controlled, but she never expected to be that far behind, it was probably intended for padding purposes, not for 'stealing' a win.
