President Bush traveled to the three areas of the country that were hit by terrorist attacks one year ago today. Bush traveled to the Pentagon this morning, Pennsylvania this afternoon, and New York City this evening- where he delivered an address to the nation from Ellis Island. Today is a day for remembering the lives that were lost, and today is a day for honoring the freedom that we will fight and die for. God bless America. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

The story was, the boy had given him a card to sign, and W told him to show it to his dad when he saw him so he would believe the President was there. He was crying. It was very touching, and the look on his face in the photo, you could see his heart break.

I know which one you are talking about, but I don't have it. In fact, today was the first I saw it. It was while they were telling the story about how President Bush signed a picture of the boy's father and told the boy to hang on to that to show his Daddy. Then they showed that precious picture of a boy giving a big bear hug to Dubya. Broke my heart.

Well it has been an exhausting day. I am going to do a little right clicking, and then go to bed.

This first photo could almost be his dad..they look so much alike in this one

Was thinking the same thing about our President and First Lady. They have been drained for sure today and hope they sleep well this evening. They did a great service to everyone today. God bless them both.

Anyone notice that his flag just didn't want to stay down today .. it kept wanting to fly free and show her strips

Yes, ladyinred, President Bush is so very lucky to have Laura. You know the nicest thing about it is that he knows it and that he doesn't take her for granted. She is lucky too.

There is only one explanation for the look on his face here......he is filled with the love of Jesus! Thank You, Lord for this man!!

..... and since he didn't say he was quoting scripture, it will be hard for others to criticize him for it.He does that a lot, kayak, doesn't he? I believe that he just thinks Scripture, and since he is so in tune with the Holy Spirit, through prayer and Bible reading, it just comes flowing out of him all the time........but especially when everyone is listening! :o)

BlessedAmerican, I had called CBS too and they told me the same thing. Maybe they will change their minds and make it available.
If you find out when they repeat the interview with President Bush, please let me know and I will do the same for you. I sure don't want to miss it again. I only saw half of it.

Yup, that picture is beyond words. Is it possible to love this President any more than we do? God protect him.
His Mom and Dad must be SO proud!
kayak, I, too, love it when Dubya quotes scripture and the libs repeat his quote. Makes you feel he innocently put one over on them.

"New York times is criticizing him for telling the boy that"
If Dubya ran into the street to rescue an old lady from the truck bearing down on her, the N.Y. Slimes would find something to criticize him for.

President Bush, as President Reagan both have much in common. They are decent and honest men. Most of us here saw those qualities in President Bush long ago. Thank God we were not wrong.
