"This yahoo couldn't even see the need to get Saddam out of Kuwait who cares what he thinks about foreign policy."

Oh yeah, it was vital that we save the undemocratic Al-Sabah family installed by the British 80 years ago by stealing land from Iraq (had always been part of Iraq)to "create" a new country called Kuwait.

And our President (George I -x41) had the nerve to say that WE were defending the rule of Law.

Now we're once again going to occupy one of the largest oil reserves out of "self-protection". Puhleeze. Let's be honest folks.....follow the money.

So you would prefer that Saddam control Iraq's oil, Kuwait's oil, and Saudi Arabia's oil. Boy what a foreign policy genius.

BTW Iraq never existed until the Brits created it from nothing. So spare me the pseudo-history.

Buchanan is a bozo and of little political value.

Iraq was a creation of the Versailles Treaty. Seems that the Sublime Porte in Constantinople bet on the wrong horse in 1914.

By your statement, Turkey has a 100% enforceable claim on all of Iraq, Kuwait, and most of Saudi Arabia.
