Liberal Fundamentalism! The resurgence of this reality-free, logic-free doctrine has delivered to the enemies of Judeo-Christian values and life an unfettered license to go about their business of undermining our entire civilization, with the ultimate intention of dismantling and replacing it with an Islamic system of the likes seen in the Middle East.
Though I disagree with the conclusion of instituting an Islamic system, the premise of liberalism is DEAD ON ACCURATE.
Look at university "research" projects in the human sciences (psychology, communication, sociology, etc....) over the past 15-20 years, and the trend toward Qualitative (where the FACTS don't matter, just what people FEEL is the correct conclusion to hypothetical constructs)....
The Worldview II (i.e. Qualitative) approach undermines true logic and factual-based research methodology.
No wonder the studies are out recently showing most professor's (90%+) are liberal democrat or greens.
I only know of one, ONE professor, though a "independent," but still teaches Quantitative research methodology as the only "proven" method of proving research hypotheses...and, he's the only professor in the department that regularly publishes his work...qualitative is harder to publish (go figure) and even harder to glean anything useful from...
One wonders what more the U.S. has to say to get lunatic Muslims and left-wingers to get the message.
The middle eastern person sees the Christian world with America as its leader which allows and tolerates: drugs, homosexuality, divorce, womens rights, abortion, imorality, any religious belief or atheism, support for democratic Israel, and countless other issues that are not tolerated in their societies but are allowed to exist in ours. They see are great wealth and judge us from all our music, media, movies, and think that those are the real Americans as portrayed by the secular mega media corporations.
This does not give an excuse for their hatred of America and the west, but it shows how they can stir up their people to focus their ignorant masses on hating America and not the repressive regimes.
Suadi Arabia especially fears a conquered Iraq with a free democratic secular islamic society. Iran fears this as well. Freedom is infectious and would spread through the region. This is why the islamic countries hate and fear Israel. Not because they spread Judaism, but because they are free. This is also why the so called Arab leage does not call for a free and democratic palestinian authority and supports Arafat as a dictitorial leader.
Christianity preaches love and tolerance and lets God sort out the weeds from the wheat. Islam wants to burn down the field and will let the whole crop go up in flame in their attempt to burn out any faith that is not islam. To them we are all weeds that must be put to the threshing and mixed with the mud of dead Isralis to make bricks for an islamic world. They are about to bring about the next crusade and this time it will be the end of islam forever.

Looking forward to it with a bit of relish actually. It's time that their crimes be paid back with interest.
