I do have family members serving overseas in the armed forces. I'm proud of them and their contributions to our nation's defense. Cowardice and expecting other people to do our dirty work for us is not what made us a great nation.

One can be proud of family members, friends, etc, for joining the military without always agreeing with the leaders that send them into conflict. The patriotic act of joining to defend our nation should not be construed to mean one is always backing a President and his choices of where/how we fight.

I, too, have a loved one in the armed services. I'm extremely proud of him and the job he does. That being said, I do have some serious concerns about US preparedness to start an attack on Iraq. I seriously hope that our Commander in Chief doesn't send our troops over there until its time.
