Islam is not about murder and slaughter, and whoever thinks that it is needs to research Islam a little more closely.

I've read the Koran. From my copy of it:

Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day ... until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low

you can do your research with corrupted and incomplete translations of the Qur'an, but the only way that you will learn the true meanings is to learn Arabic and read the origional Arabic text. but you will do what you like. have a nice day.
