Al-lah which is a compound word made from the words Al (The) and Lah (God) probably was used by pre-Islamic pagans but it is simply a generic word for God. The Arabic bible which predates the English one calls Christ the son of Al-lah. Muslims say " La-i-Lah-ha-ill-al-Lah". Meaning "there is no God but The God" - Just look at the way the language adds up! Yet many non-Muslims claim that Al-lah is a pagan deity.
