The reason I like Ann, is not because she is the most intelligent of the conservative columnists, but because we finally have someone who is fighting the liberal columnists head to head. The "viciousness" that Ann displays is simply the same type of name-calling that the liberal press has been doing for years, but that for some reason republicans and conservatives have never really stooped to. Unfortunately, I believe that it is Ann's kind of writing that reaches the masses, not George Will or other more intelligent commentary. Ann is the only columnist who takes on the media head-to-head. We need more conservatives to follow suit. The reason we never seem to win is that we are never really in the fight. Now, we are to some extent, and that is why the liberals hate Ann so much.

Do you really think we need more like Ann? Frankly I question that. Most conservatives minds are made up as are most liberals. Neither side is going to change. That leaves the dredded independents. What do independents hate more than anything? Politicians yelling at each other, negative advertising, vicious attacks. That doesnt wash with them so who is Ann really reaching? The teenager who cant or wont vote but he digs the babe???? Get real, Ann loses us more votes than she gains.

You are right on. It's not a style of writing I particular care for but I *know* that it bugs the heck out of liberals and she is a voice for republicans that cannot speak out exactly like her. She speaks for republicans who need to keep things a bit more diplomatic. She is a voice that speaks clearly and in terms the masses can understand as she speaks out against liberals. Good for her but I can't have a steady diet of her writing.

What the scumbags in the liberal newsrooms call "viciousness" is something that used to be called "sharp wit" before the brilliant and beautiful Ann Coulter used it to expose the hypocrisy and lies of the Democrat Party and the liberal elite.
