I would guess Coulter developed her style of discourse by being in the trenches and fighting the hard "hand to hand" with the dems. It is a war out there and the sooner more Pubbies learn that, the better.
If you read the article closer, you will see that this paper carries other conservative columnists proudly, including Cal Thomas. The republic got on fine for a little while with conservative columnists not named Ann Coulter ya know.Ann gets down into the trenches and fights like a man. Although I appreciate the likes of Thomas, Sowell and the other conservative writers, they do not seem to register with the average joe citizen. Ann at least pokes them in the eye with a "hey", there's something happening here that you really NEED to know and care about!
