A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 9/2/01

President Bush celebrated Labor Day in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania today as he spoke to members of the Carpenter's Union and attended a picnic. In his speech, the President focused on thanking American workers and on strengthening the country through compassion. He also used the occasion to stress the need for a cabinet-level department of homeland defense. Bush also toured the Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Center on Neville Island. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

These pictures tonight could not be any better! That first one is just priceless!

Just was on a thread where our fellow freepers were doing a good a job of trashing this President as the RATS could do anyday. I am getting very disgusted by this, and to tell the truth, I am afraid for our republic.

This kind and decent man is being slammed for being so, slammed for not doing each persons pet agenda, even blamed for the Clinton's trashing of him!!!!

Sorry for the rant, but this forum is supposed to be to further the conservative cause, and all I am seeing lately is the same lies and bashing about Bush I could see on a democrat forum. This needs to be addressed, or we will have a Socialist President in a couple of years, and then God help us.

Thank you both so much. These pictures are fantastic. Of course, it helps when the President is photogenic.

What a cute baby. You can see the President loves children.

I got to see my grandson today.:-) That baby is growing like a weed

You're correct -- Elaine was on stage with him as well. [FYI: Elaine is married to Senator Mitch McConnell (R, KY) who is up for re-election this year. He should be a 'shoo-in'!]

Texas Monthly is not horrible, but it tends to be very liberal; gets in the usual snide comments.

I never pick it up anymore.

"Texas Monthly" has an occasional liberal slant, but each month's issue usually has 2-3 articles I enjoy reading. It's a slick, well written regional magazine. They have a website with a good search feature. They have featured W in several issues over the past several years. Take a look and see what you think. Texas Monthly

Well they could always adopt...

I had forgotten that Hil said she and the debauched one wanted to adopt......can you think of any fate worse for a poor innocent child?! (Besides which, was there anyone on earth who thought that was anything but a political pile of swill when she said it?)

On the other hand, can you imagine any parents having more love, encouragement and support to give a child than George W. and Laura Bush?

I live in a conservative area and almost never see a picture of the President in our paper. It's sickening that the liberal bias exists everywhere because everyone gets their stories from liberal news sources.

That's why it is SO amazing that President Bush still has such a high approval rating in spite of the bias, and negative press.

My gosh ohioWfan....the pics you posted DO capture that look....he is, he is, I dunno, maybe he just IS. Too kewl! Thanks.

(And I do know the meaning of is unlike a certain scumbucket running around our nation trying to instill fear of a war against a brutal, horrendous, dispicable creep in Iraq.)

"invitation only event "

yeah - I seem to recall that they never mentioned it when Clinton came to town and it was ONLY union-goons who paid $$ allowed to see him. (or snakes - er, trial lawyers, who paid top $$$ to see him).

But we are Republicans and are used to this kind of treatment. If that's the worst thing they can say - they really are scrapping the bottom of the bottom of an empty barrel.

I cannot tell you with the right words how much that loving, generous, touching, compassionate, kindly, joyous photo impacts me. I guess I just simply love President George Bush - deeply. He continues to inspire me, and to cause me to want to be a better person. I still find that passionately fantastic!
