NEW YORK (AP) -- She has made fragile peace with her husband's death. She knows he is gone for good. For the rest of her life, she will never see his face or touch his cheek or smell the sweat from a long day's work in the creases of his neck.

I pray for G-d to somehow comfort all those who lost a loved one. Those of us who watched in horror will never forget them.

I am in tears, too. After 9/11, I have little sympathy for what may happen to the millions of savage, ignorant, barbaric animals who celebrated, danced in the streets and supported this evil act. They and their brainwashed "holy martyrs" are already trying to implement more evil in the name of their blood-thirsty, perverted god. "Let's Roll" over the lot of them. They'd do it to me, my family, friends, and fellow human beings with no pity. Last one standing, wins.

Sept. 11 is going to be a sad, sad day.

I believe out of it will be a renewed determination to into Iraq to keep this type of horror from happening again.

The last time I saw my mother alive...I kissed her twice goodbye---she died on vacation unexpectedly in Hawaii!

All my life she was always teaching me..."this is not our home here"!

Your mother was right......I recently had a dream about my dad who passed away in March telling me "we're not allowed to eat in heaven"......and we shared a bagle with cream cheese together....

Not sure I could come up with an interpretation for that one!

Cream cheese and bagels sound good to me---heaven...nice dream!

Of all five senses, none save smell evokes a more visceral, emotional response than hearing,

I don't agree at all. I've lost all sense of smell in the past several years.

I can still see, touch, hear, and taste.

I know that smell and taste are linked, but I have not lost taste. I feel blessed, indeed. It's a mixed blessing; because while I don't smell bad odors, neither do I smell good things like lily-of-the-valley, or lilacs.

My prayer during the past year has been for those individuals who saw, touched, heard, touched, or tasted those things that NONE of us should ever experience.

May the Lord grant them healing.

How touching about your Mom.

Comforting to know we will see our loved ones again.

It's stories like this that rile the passion for vengeance. I thought about leaving the Border Patrol and re-enlisting in the Marine Corps. However, it looks like I may get my chance for some payback right here on the border.

Amen. Makes me hate those bastards anew.

If we ever want peace, we have to make them pay beyond what they ever imagined. They are no tougher than the Japanese were, but when we hit the Japanese hard enough, even they surrendered. We need to keep killing terrorists and their sympathizers until every last jihad is canceled or every jihad supporter is dead.

I guess that I believe there is another life after this one...like your mother once said... and my dream re-assured me that he was OK somewhere else...
