I would argue that you don't understand the process.

We visit Free Republic to gain knowledge about events as they occur. The pool is an exercise in evaluating the effectiveness of the process and our own individual ability to process that information and make meaningful projections to future events.

There is no moral delimma here.

There are a lot of posters here who want to sit in their living rooms drinking beer and eating pretzels and being entertained by watching news clips of cruise missles etc etc zeroing in on Iraq
Like a big Nitendo game and then jump on Free Republic with some great remark

Enlisting would put them up where they can see first hand

People with relatives in this battle aren't so glib about predicting war dates etc

If saddam is over thrown I think they will feel cheated out of their entertainment
