There are 3 shots there of Wild Wonderful West Virginia. The wild beauty here is breathtaking. Life is "laid back" and the people are the salt of the earth. They still have a certain amount of innocence. That is why the Dems can fool them into voting for them. They aren't stupid, but they have long memories, and those memories involve the fight for humane working conditions in the mines. The history of this state reads like a novel. If you want to get a flavor of W.V.'s past, watch a movie called Matewan. It is a great movie and was filmed in W.V. at a ghosttown named Thurman. I've been to Thurman and it's filled with ghosts of the past. W.V. has top notch ski resorts, some of the wildest whitewater rafting on the planet and it's a rock climber's paradise. One has the choise of vacationing at a 5 star resort (Greenbrier) or rent a cabin in the mountains where the bear, deer and wild turkeys are teeming. Hey, I think the office of tourism should hire me. I'm not a native of W.V., but I love and appreciate it so much, having lived so many other places.
