Hi Louie! Hi Mama_Bear and Billie, too! Just got back from power shopping. I have got to tell you....it is some powerful HOT out there!! The heat index is over 100 and it feels every bit of it. Glad to be back and hunkered down in the a/c.

Being from FL originally, you would think I wouldn't mind the heat. But down there, because it's a peninsula and surrounded by water, summers are quite tolerable. Here, outside of Atlanta, between the air pollution and the humidity, whew!

Goodafternoon all. Poor Gizmo has been lame the past few days, hopping around on three feet. Turned out he has an infection in his "paw". We've affectionately dubbed him "the Gimp" as opposed to "the giz". But, our vet. said he'll be fine and is milking it for all it's worth.

Speaking of which....loved all the frog jokes yesterday...found the cartoon below in an old file. Enjoy!
