The key concept behind sustainable development is that the earth has finite resources with too many people.
There's plenty of resources. Especially human resources if it weren't for governments hindering human nature that creates competitive values for self, others and society. Self-proclaimed authorities feeding like parasites off the labor of the creatively productive working class would perish because, like parasites, they cannot produce their own means of sustenance.
This concept was developed by the Brundtland Commission in the mid-1980s at the request of the U.N. General Assembly.
