If YOU'RE the messenger, he!! no... :^) If you refer to Lesko as the messenger, he's the one who says he did the "work" which makes him an accessory to grand theft as well as a fence. He should be in prison...

Yeah, I was actually referring to Lesko. While he is no doubt a sleazeball, he is really just the messenger. He simply compiled a list of government givaway programs that already exist. He's the kind of guy who would make a good lightening rod for everyone to hate, but he is really not the person to be mad at. That honor falls to the pandering politicians who created the givaways. Lesko is just a capitalist. A sleazy capitalist, but a capitalist nonetheless. :)

Di-freeking-Tech! Someone please shoot him now!

I've actually gotten beyond the Verizon guy, but does anybody remember Tom Vu, or Mike Levy's Amazing Discoveries with those awful sweaters and that annoying British guy? (that's sad, that I can remember infomercials like that...[sigh])

The granny on the Holiday Inn Express spot that cackles "Sin City Baby!" drives me up a wall.
I want to toss her in the Grand Canyon!

When I hear Kirstie say "my job here is done" I want to slug her in the mouth.

It's that guy who wants to teach you how to use the computer.

Oh, C'mon. Why don't you just try his product?

There is also a new KMart commercial, selling Joe Boxer underwear, with a guy dancing around in his draws. The music is great but the guy looks like a homosexual at a slumber party with "the girls".

LOL!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that.

Very Queer. And if the actor isn't homo he has been type-casted forever. If I was him I would fire my agent.

I agree with Carrot Top but have to put him behind the DiTech guy. I am currently re-financing and didn't even contact ditech because of the wimp spokesman.

The tone of voice the robot had was just perfect!

It really was. To this day, my son and I can do that whole commercial, and he does the snowman. It's hilarious. My hat is off to whoever directed and voiced that spot.

sometimes I wonder who their target audience is.

Anyone who can push money over the counter. It's purely a numbers game, just like door-to-door or telephone soliciting. Consider who the average TV program's aimed at and you have your answer.

There is some Aussie guy who would advertise that mop, then he was on to paint rollers, etc. I can't remember his name, but he was irritating, as well.

BTW, how did it go with Tavis today?

I wonder if that KMart underwear commercial is one of the Spike Lee directed ones.

Have you seen the latest Subway ads, with the smarmy guy showing the big city to the "yokel" who is dressed in his cowboy clothes? The guy is supposed to be such a backwoods rube that he doesn't know what poodles, aerobics, and a fire hydrant are. Stupid!

Those new Chilis commercials with that boy band on them. I get so schizoid when those commercials come on. I can't hit the mute button quick enough.
