If it were just for commercials I'd say it's the black girl who says, "I was 15 on the honor roll and ever'thing...din ah got pregnant, followed closely by the United Negro College Fund, "Pleease don't make us choose" in the whiney voice.

But as far as product spokespeople go, Ditech.

I think the term applies to any male with a somewhat stocky (or even outright fat) build, especially if the have a beard.

The couple in those "Taster's Choice" ads.

Hey I thought those commercials were intelligent, tasteful, and intriguing!

That is so funny...and so true! What is pathetic is hearing the Wal Mart "employees" on those commercials talking about how their lives revolve around Wal Mart. "On the weekends, my husband and I just love spending the day at Wal Mart." I don't pretend to have the most envied life in the world but, come on!

I can't believe no one has mentioned Howie Long and Teri Hatcher for Radio Shack. Talk about a couple of ring-tailed doofuses.

Why would Dell use such a geek? My next computer wont be a Dell, just because of that geek...

I've kinda had mixed emotions about him. Some of his stuff is good, some lousy. However, when I heard that he is being sued/fined by the union for essentially crossing the picket line, he got a lot of sympathy from me.

F the unions. All of them. Especially the government unions.

Bob likes to grab up a nearly finished product and act as if he is helping the guys out. Steve just likes to tromp around and get in the way. I saw one episode in which he was being derogatory about some guy's machinery.

Speaking of oxyclean, has anybody ever bought it? Does it work that well?

It cleans blood. No kidding. It cleaned water-colors from carpet.

Oh man!!! I knew there was forgetting someone! Those ads are one of the worst. Even the Radio Shack ads with Vanessa Williams and Ving Rhames are irritating.

Write in candidates are welcome.

That's alright, Steve is who I had in mind anyway.

My first impulse is the Verizon guy, but I think I have to go with either John Basedow of "Fitness Made Simple", or the guy who pitches the CD-ROM's that claim to teach you how to use Windows, and work "just like a VCR."

Two extremely good choices. I can't imagine how the CD-ROM guy makes money. His advertising budget must be in the billions.

I know you're not supposed to be happy when someone dies....but I was quietly gleeful when Clara bit the big one. Sometimes it is the only way to stop the evil in the world.

(Clara was the where's the beef hagatha)
