In my book, Texas ranks up there near the top of all the lower 48 states and I've been in them all. We have a son and two grandchildren in Houston. Used to pull a lot gigs in Texas during our band days. Amarillo is just about my favorite city in the world. Don't ask me why. It just is.
"Amarillo is just about my favorite city in the world." Nan, I've always liked the Panhandle, and I don't know why anyone would like that desolate place.
To me, it's Texas, like West Texas.
