The dollar coin continues to meet with resistance due to continued printing of the paper dollar. Discontinue the paper, the coin will be used.
The Susan B. dollar was an absolute disaster and deserves to be eradicated from our nation's collective memory. But despite the PC overtones, I kinda like the Sacagawea dollar: it's tastefully attractive and convenient to use. (Susan B. was an ugly hag.)
Eliminate the paper dollar and the penney.
Keep Sacagawea and put Ronnie on a new $5 coin.
(He's certainly worth more than a buck.)
The liberals liked the idea of an ethnic single mom on our coins. Sacagawea has failed just like Susan B.
Just like Reagan, the Reagan Dollar Coin will succeed where the liberal ideas had failed.
