Islam is evil. Where are the Clerics?

I have to deduce from statements like that that they are holding onto the part of Islam that seemed goodness to them and are rejecting the part that they did not like.

Which would mean that Graham is right. These folk you know are rejecting (or at least claiming to reject) those parts that are evil. But in it's whole, Islam is an evil religion, one that wishes to war with and dominate other religions.

It has been my observation that rarely does a non-believer "hear" the message the first time it is given. If we think we can just go around smugly reciting the "Good News" with a good-ridance attitude to those who reject it.... then we will saddly miss so many chances to eventually change lives. Rather we must be patient, live the example, plant seeds, cultivate the hope, give people a reason to want to hear the message, over and over again, building "precept upon precept" as the word says, never giving up hope.

I agree. My attitude with my non-Christian friends has always been that these are my views, and if you ever want to discuss them I am here but I won't pressure you.

However my attitude is different with those who want to either slay or convert me.

I will go one step farther, and I will say that Islam is demonic. Just as Satan wanted to be like the most high God, so did Muhammed wanted to be greater than Jesus, even teaching that Jesus will follow him when he comes back. Islam claims that Jesus is a prophet, but do not believe a word that he taught, making him no more than a liar. Islam teaches that Jesus will live for 40 years and then die, denying Jesus death on the cross.
