Exactly. And neither does anybody else. And from what I have read, changing the reporting the way they did made their finances MORE accurate than they had been before.

The media and most Americans do not know the difference between an S Corps and a C Corps. A sad state of affairs.

Given the inherent uncertainties of accrual based accounting and estimations of what will finally be paid on these mega-projects, I find that Halliburton's estimates were very close to the mark. I don't know how you do it any better. Although Klayman will tell us just what how he would have done it (his calculations would of course have been correct to the very penny).

Judicial Watch still has the insinuation posted, even though Klayman should know full well by now that it's rubbish. Cheney was pressured by the media to sell those stocks. And Judicial Watch chimes in with [what looks clearly to be as best I can tell] venomous drivel, seeking to destroy the reputation of a boy scout for selfish reasons. I had heard Rush mention the media pressure to sell those 'evil oil stocks' earlier this week. Rather than apologise, Judicial Watch keeps this insinuation up proudly on display. I'm just about ready to call for a boycott of Judicial Watch, unless they clear up something I don't know real quick.
Accusation in question at Judicial Watch Web Site.
The value of the companys shares have dropped like a stone and many investors have been seriously hurt. Retirements and pensions have been wiped-out. But, Mr. Cheney cashed-out his stock options for $35 million dollars.
Is Klayman that out of touch? Or is he a ruthless, heartless shark who doesn't mind destroying the reputation of a good person? Or [which seems very unlikely at this point], does he honestly have good reason to believe that Cheney wasn't pressured by the media to sell his stocks?
