I think the various measures have varying S.D.s

AFAIK, the Mensa test has an S.D. of 16, which produces a cutoff for membership of about 135+?

This kid would be eligible for the MM interest group within Mensa, whose members are to Mensans as Mensans are to the general population, in the top 2%, IQ-wise.

Yeah you are right, I was thinking 10 SD because they had it marked in groups of 10s (I didn't learn SD till 2 years later). This is the bell curve from emode.com which is what I was thinking of in their sample analysis here
