Clinton's Black Hawk History

We wish Bill Clinton a quiet retirement, if only he'd return the favor. But when the former President distorts history for the sake of political advantage, someone has to clean up afterward.

Responding to Bush Administration suggestions that some of today's corporate scandals first got out of hand under his watch, Mr. Clinton recently shot back: "These people ran on responsibility, but as soon as you scratch them they go straight to blame. Now, you know, I didn't blame his [President Bush's] father for Somalia when we had that awful day memorialized in 'Black Hawk Down.' I didn't do that."

Thanks for posting this. I'm glad someone's holding the pig's feet to the fire on this. I wish he'd just shut up and go away.

And this is the smartest man who's ever been president?

Is he a pathological liar or just plain stupid?

A friend of ours was lost at sea on his way to the withdrawl from Somalia in Feb/March of '95. He was aboard the Essex, which was headed to the region. Clinton is such a %*!%*^... I am so sick of his whiney-butt lies.

Both. He is a blathering idiot without his handlers present to reign in his dementia. The press does its best, but even they cannot keep a lid on that festering pustule of corruption.

That force asked for heavy armor--in the form of Abrams tanks and Bradley armored vehicles--as well as the AC-130 gunship, but the Clinton Administration denied those requests.

Remember it and repeat it. We had to ask the Pakistanis for heavy armor to bring out our dead/wounded. For this alone, he should have been horse-whipped. fsf

Bump, What Is Ain't...

Is he a pathological liar or just plain stupid?

Answer: (c) All of the above.

Also, I think we have to throw in the fact that the Clintons think that we are too stupid to sort this all out. Reminds me of the "we can't have a tax cut... because what if joe sixpack doesn't spend the tax cut right" mentality.

Thanks for the post.

I am looking for an article which is loosely based on the concept that I heard floating around FR awhile ago, when at the end of BHD they gave a brief history of modern Islamic Terrorist aimed at America.

I need it for a summer project for my homeschooled teenaged daughter.

Some of the events included with stats and US response would be the 1st Twin Tower Bombing, the USS Cole attach, the army base explosion, BHD in Somolia, ect, culminating in 9-11.

Any Freeper help would be appreciated...

Responding to Bush Administration suggestions that some of today's corporate scandals first got out of hand under his watch, Mr. Clinton recently shot back:

All the accounting scandals I've read about date back to at least 1999-2000...so just whom does mr klinton think was president during those years???

MIDI - SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST -- scroll down to the second set of songs

There are so few who pass the test
They are the best of all the best
They are called Rangers, strong and proud
And each one stands above the crowd

For those who survived the training
They were set to do what they were told
They were the warriors who were so well prepared
There's none more fierce and bold

To Mogadishu they would go
There was a Black Hawk down they know
Outnumbered one hundred to one
That's when the terror had begun

By greater forces they're outgunned
The U.N. had screwed up, they were stunned
They got into a firefight
They fought 12 hours day and night

For those who survived the training
They were set to do what they were told
They were the warriors who were so well prepared
There were none more fierce and bold

All their requests civilians thwart
They needed armor for support
Eighteen had died, no armor came
Clinton's the one who is to blame

(slight musical interlude)

"Surrender's" no Ranger word

(slight musical interlude)

Eighteen brave heroes died 'cause no armor came
And Bill Clinton is to blame

There are so few who pass the test
They were the best of all the best
They gave their lives to do their part
They are remembered in our heart

They are remembered in...our heart
Yes, in our heart
