Oh for crying out loud, trying to compare someone smoking a joint in their living room to the slaughter of human children is hyperbole. Trying to link the two only makes the anti-abortion groups look ridiculous.

Smoking pot isn't comparable to abortion. I think the reason why the other poster mentioned it is because smoking pot is a vice, as opposed to something virtuous, and can be categorized as hedonistic because the only reason to engage in it is to get high. And of course the effects one gets from smoking, i.e, laziness, loss of sexual inhibitions, gluttony, are also classified as vice.

Reply to post #6: Abortion and smoking a joint isn't what is being compared. It is the rationalization process that immoral people use to justify their immoral acts that is at issue. Your post proved my point.
