A top microbiologist in New York says FBI agents interviewing her Thursday asked whether a team of government scientists could be trying to frame Steven J. Hatfill, a former Army researcher whose apartment in Frederick, Md., was searched for a second time by FBI agents on Thursday.

And, thus, Barbara Nuthatch Rosenberg closes the book on suspect #3 and moves deftly on toward the identification of suspect #4.
"Top microbiologist", my Aunt Hepzibah. For those who may not be aware, Rosenberg teaches a course in environmental "science" at a fine arts college -- when she's not performing as "anthrax expert" for the media...
Maybe. Or maybe she's not being so deft. She's getting a not-so-subtle warning that if she's not on firm ground when leveling accusations, she could end up in hot water herself.
Ever see The Enforcer, with Clint Eastwood? Then you can imagine what Dubya tells Mueller before these sessions: "Bob, just go in there, and jerk 'em off!"
What could Mueller possibly say at such meetings that would be different from what the FBI says in public?
Washington -- FBI agents Thursday conducted a second search of the Frederick, Md., home of Dr. Steven J. Hatfill, one of many current and former government scientists who have been interviewed about the anthrax mailings last fall. But a law enforcement official specifically rejected television reports that Hatfill was a "potential suspect." At least a dozen people are still under investigation, and warrants have been issued for other homes, offices and storage facilities throughout the country, the official said.
There's something about Rosenberg that I don't like but I can't put my finger on it.
There is something about her analysis of the anthrax events that is missing.
There is no suggestion of alternatives.
She's damned determined that the perpetrator was a good guy gone bad, not a bad guy doing bad.
I'm still thinking a research student, long gone and likely dead since part of the goals of these horrendous acts is "dead men tell no tales".
I believe Rosenberg still disconnects the events of 9-11 with the anthrax scare and yet, it is the very similarity of the basics of ALL the plots that binds them into one.
Two NY Anthrax Hits = Two Tower Hits and
Two Politician Hits = Two DC monument Hits.
I am now of the thought that the Anthrax letters were originally supposed to come FIRST to set the nation in disarray but the plans were changed when Moussaoui was captured and they couldn't be certain that the mails and Anthrax could operate on a precise schedule and the risk of getting through security would become greater. Anthrax would be changed to the SECOND event.
Atta started running all over the place, initiating the change of plans and taking on the task of delivering Anthrax packages on a one to one basis.
Moussaoui is a bigger fish than we think.
He's looking for "time" and "effect" with his outbursts. He knows exactly what he is doing.
Rosenberg is stuck in her thinking pattern and has to think start thinking "out of the box.
Sac
Never forget that the last last group to organize and act violently against the Postal Service was, in fact, YPSL. Then, there's a history of this nonsense back in the early 1900s where members of organizations which are predecessors to Rosenburg's and of YPSL, were actually out tossing bombs in post offices, blowing up postal wagons and trucks, blowing up trains, etc.
I've got news for you, Babs: When an FBI agent asks you if you think "someone" might have done X, it's because he thinks you did X. Next time the FBI comes to talk with her, Nuthatch Rosenberg better lawyer up fast.
Now we can move the spotlight back to Atta's Prague meeting to get us psychologically ready for the Iraq Attack.
)Note: I support attacking Iraq, I just wish the fedgov would treat us like adults and not like children.)
(And why do I suddenly feel like "Egan, 40-41"?)
Yes, that makes a lot of sense if they're trying to smoke her out. Or rather, no other explanation makes sense of that line of questioning - not with her."'They kept asking me did I think there might be a group in the biodefense community that was trying to land the blame on Hatfill,' said Barbara Hatch Rosenberg..."

Considering the poor security background checks that was just short of mandated in the previous administration, I wonder how many people
had access to this report.
All these leftwing organizations, including the one Rosenberg is in, are derivative of various organizations sponsored by the Politburo of the former USSR.
No one knows where they are getting their money these days, but they are still just as dangerous.
In the good old days (when Liddy still had his hair), the only way the FBI would have talked to that woman was with her strapped to a chair, bright lights in her eyes, etc. The only dignity and courtesy that ought to be extended by the government to the left is the third-degree.
Figures.
It takes an even smaller leap to determine that people like Barbara Hatch Rosenberg with her extreme leftwing connections really have to be watched closely!
