Michigan NOW endorses Peters *[This is NOT my headline]*

LANSING -- The Michigan branch of the National Organization for Women is endorsing Democratic state Sen. Gary Peters for attorney general even though a Democratic woman also is running.

Michigan NOW President Linda Varonich said the organization selected Peters over Detroit attorney Marietta Robinson because of his voting record on issues such as domestic violence and abortion rights.

Hey everyone - he's not kidding. I went to the source link, and that's *really* the headline of the Detroit News article. That one's right up there in the annals of all-time headline double entendres.

Sweet. That might actually beat the one headline that was supposed to read
"Rushdie's Pen is a Sword"
but after a space got dropped it came out
"Rushdie's Penis a Sword"

(It might not have been Rushdie btw, but the rest is accurate)

I assume you are referring to the Michigan NOW organization which presently consists of 4 dykes and a castrated goat. I mean really, these morns will never disclose their actual membership because they couldn't handle the embarassment.
