You misunderstood the post. I said "libertarians," not "Libertarians." These are the people who think anything goes -- as long as it feels good, do it, etc. This is not the political party, with whom I agree on many issues (draw the line at open borders, however).

Sorry, stud, you're wrong again... (small L) libertarians are no more this sort than small R republicans... you got the wrong group to scapegoat. Most of them are staunch Constitutionalists, who would require FedGov to live STRICTLY within the bounds of that wonderful old document. State governments would have to live within the bounds of the Bill of Rights and each and every state Constitution...

Find another scapegoat. You lose on this one... or better yet, start insisting that FedGov live within its proper bounds. Once we STOP all this gooberment-mandated bs and require folks to make their own choices AND LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES we will begin to have that moral society again that most of us dream of... for then it will be truly moral. By choice. The way it is now, there are no consequences for poor choices and tacky behaviour right up to the point where some d!ckhead does a BIGTIME no-no, then he's toast... If parents and churches were free to instill morality into kids as they were growing up, we'd all be better off. And we'd have far fewer tragedies such as the ones we have been hit with over the past weeks.
