I should search this site. I said 1-2 years ago that AOL was a garbage stock, especially at 150 times earnings and a crappy service.

And that is precisely why Steve Case unloaded it to Time Warner.

OK, I know I'll be called a dweeb, but I use AOL. Which service should I use? Keep in mind I am techno-challenged and need something simple and safe.
BTW, my favorite part of this article is that Jane gave her AOL stock to liberal causes and politicians. Makes my day!

aol was a garbage stock, especially at 150 times earnings and a crappy servicewell stated. aol is charging premium prices for services and features i can now get with a standard internet provider and microsoft software that comes on my pc. the union of content and provider has not happened, nor is it about to happen quickly. it appears that bill gates is slaying ted turner.

I had a feeling AOL is garbage stock and there is no way I would invest. Also, it offers crummy service giving me porn mail I don't want and hackers IMing me messages to see a webcam page I cannot block. I am starting to believe 123.com offers better service!
