Chris Ruddy's NewsMax, which I used to have some degree of trust in, given that he was so instrumental in exposing the truth about Vince Foster's murder, refuses to remove an advertisement it's carrying promoting a video by one Alex Jones, a conspiracy kook who claims, in excruciatingly unexamined, half-assed detail, that the U.S. government, and the "New World Order", were in fact behind the attacks of September 11. They ALLOWED Al-Qaida to do this, you see, so that they could institute global tyranny. Blah, blah, blah.

Thinks he's come up with a link?It's not news to ANYONE that Osama bin Laden and the Mujahadin got support in the war against the Soviets from the "west"(read Britain and the US,the only world leaders that really matter).To suppose that these same cold warriors did not assist bin Laden in Chechnya is delusion.This was presented to the US gov't as geopolitical strategy by the career,unelected rogues in the state department who desire to see the end of US sovereingty for their transnational masters.It's not the US government,but rogues within it who use their gov't staus as a shield.It's the New World Order fanatics who want to militarize the US.Idiot McKinney tried to make political hay by pinning the blame on the unfortunate George W.She had best look into the maniacs within the state department who have been making US policy,regardless of who is in the White House,for more than(in some cases)30 years.

I've started listening to Alex Jones pretty often.

He does a little carried away sometimes, but I believe that:

1) He truly loves America and the Constitution,
2) He reports the news that many "mainstream" media sources and radio show hosts fail to report
3) He is correct about the emergence of a police state, and the goals of the NWO.

I don't know, I read a book by Ambrose Evens Pritchard called The Secret Life of Bill Clinton. I remember the Vince Foster chapter being very interesting.

Information is information. Imo when people react vividly to information it's cause for attention as it belies a personal conflict. Iow, even in their own mind there's more to the issue than they're willing to face.

In the case of the WTC attacks there're some glaring irrationals. Like why the FBI would repeatedly table or dismiss post-1993 reports and indications of renewed plans among Islamic fundamentalists to attack the towers.

One should ask who benefits? Imo both Islamic fundamentalism and the Federal government have benefitted from 9/11. Have Americans' freedoms increased or decreased since the attacks? Some of the terrorists even had their visas renewed posthumously yet old people are strip-searched at airports. Are you aware the DOD mandated military bases to be ready to enforce 'lock-down' (Threatcon Delta) proceedures NLT 1 Sept. 2001 and held mock practices during the Summer of 2001? Having lived next to a large base at the time I saw some of the preparations and facility upgrades being made during the Summer. Just a coincidence I suppose but it may well be an indicator. What purpose were the upgrades? Then, post-9/11 what purpose did they serve? Perhaps they didn't know exactly of 9/11 but imo the intelligence agencies definitely knew a sensational attack was in the works.

Furthermore, many of the federal bills passed shortly after the attacks had already been drawn up. Also, how did the terrorists get the communication codes to the WH to call AF1? Why did the Clinton WH transfer secure telecommunication equipment "hand over fist" to Syria and in turn Al-Quida from 1996 onwards? Etc., etc., etc.

I listen to Jones' shortwave show "infowars" and he asks people to copy and distribute his tapes to friends neighbors etc and get the word out. From what i gather he is a very patriotic person and i don't think he does this for the money, i think he's pretty secure financially.
