The financial commentator observed that had the Clinton SEC cracked down on the corporate corruption of the 1990's, "there's a very good chance" that the more recent wave of corporate scandals could have been prevented.

The media will most likely continue to protect Clonton by ignoring this fact......while trying to make GWB take the blame!

Of course the media will ignore the obvious and instead they lavish praise on Levitt. Sheeet...this should be obvious to everyone. Levitt spent so much time working for legislation that his SEC did very little of the actual oversight they were supposed to be doing. Trying to put the blame on Pitt, who is investigating, is outrageous.

I hate the press.
