Rush has a way of saying what most of us are thinking. Maybe there's more of "us" now, thanks to Rush and a few more like him.

Nine of the top 12 wealthiest United States senators are Democrats, as we cover in Democrats Open Door, Hit Face. Yet listen to them talk. Actually, Maria Can't-well isn't rich any more since Real networks stock dropped, causing her to affix herself in Hitlery's armpit, allegedly under her wing, to benefit from DNC fundraisers. But clearly, nine of top ten senators are wealthiest in that august body, and that little tidbit will come in very handy in discussions with leftist liberals.

It's great that Rush is making these points, but he is simply preaching to the choir. Unless the Republican machinery in D.C. gets its gears un-stuck, this type of information will forever be buried amongst the bits and bytes on the Information Superhighway.
The RNC is so incredibly inept, you have to wonder if they are truly as stupid as they seem to be, or if they instead simply agree with much of what the Dems are spouting. Given the actions taken by Congressional Republicans, as well W, I'm beginning to buy into the theory that we have a one-party system.

9. Sen. Mark Dayton (D-MN) $20 million
- Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN) $20 millionHey, if Sen. FRist has $20 million, that's because he's a doctor! (Heart surgeon, IIRC.) Where have the others earned their fortunes? Or have they?
To: spodefly
I also question
9. Sen. Mark Dayton (D-MN) $20 million
From what I understand, he spent something like $13 million of his own money buying his Senate seat, and tried to renege
on the campaign promise that he'd only take $1 per year in salary for the job because he was broke.
He made his money the old fashioned way, his family started a department store, and he got a nice inheritance.
To: spodefly
I think this is correct
1. John F. Kerry (D-MA) $675 million Married into it 2. Jon Corzine (D-NJ) $400 million CEO 4. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) $200 million inherited 8. Edward Kennedy (D-MA) $30 million inherited 9. Sen. Mark Dayton (D-MN) $20 million inherited

"The following is a list of the 10 richest Senators. "
May I politely request where that information is from?

Nevermind.
I found the information on Roll Call
Although they break it down there to the top richest in Congress
And there, broken down: "Thirty-three lawmakers on the list are Republicans; 17 are Democrats.

When CORZINE was buying the Democrap seat in the U.S Senate from New Jersey, he campaigned with his wife, in elitist Summit. Now that he is forcing his elitist positions on the remainder of the country, (and divorcing his campaign prop), he says that he didn't know what was going on on Wall Street while he was fleecing $400 MILLION from duped investors.
CORZINE sounded like a bad medicine when he was campaigning and buying off the black politicians in Newark and Camden and he is now showing how bad a medicine he is to his wife and the country!
He fits in quite well with the other fleecer from NJ in the U.S. Senate. By the way, why is he referred to as the "Chinese Bag Man?"
The Torch was annointed to a leadership position on his first day in the Senate, something that Bill Bradley never achieved in his entire career. Of course it was a fund raising position because the Torch had filled many bags with cash during his career in the U.S. House!
And remember that when Bradley first went to the Senate, the Democraps touted him as a future President of the U.S. This is very similar to the present "show and tell" of Edwards as a prime Presidential candidate!
