I really think we've reached a Tipping Point with low-carb now that this article appeared in the NY Times. Just this evening Kudlow & Cramer had Dr. Atkins on their show. Keep an eye out for news segments on dieting in the next few months: They'll have a much more respectful attitude towards low-carb & Atkins in particular. After all, the NY Times has spoken!
