If the article is accurate, I doubt very seriously that any such thing will come out in the trial. The article gives the impression that they are seasoned criminals who searched for random white victims. If they had just been robbing them, or if the crimes had involved both black and white victims, it would be hard to argue the case of a "hate crime". Since all the victims were white and hatefully abused, the crimes should be labeled "hate crimes" the same as they would be if the races were reversed.
This sounds to me like another glaring example of the blatant double standards existent in the government's ridiculous "hate crime" categorizations. If two white males were caught on a rampage like this, and if their victims were all minorities - blacks, asians, hispanics, muslims, or homosexuals - we would be inundated with constant coverage by the mainstream media.
