Black Reparations Group Wants to Close 'Slave Health Deficit'

Look, I think reparations are a fabulous idea. It is about time the subject was addressed and closed. I think that the president should go on the air immediately and demand that the CEO of any corporation who presenty owns, or has owned slaves under his leadership report to the nearest federal office for immediate incarceration.

Likewise, anyone who is or has been a slave should report to the nearest federal office for to be immediately granted their freedom and to receive a hefty reparation check.

Because there are inherent racial differences in some diseases (e.g., people of African descent have much lower rates of malaria than people of European descent), the proper comparison for health is not African vs. European extraction but rather comparing African-Americans against people still living in Africa whose ancestors were not enslaved.

If the NAACP is now claiming that blacks have health care concerns that have been passed down as a result of slavery, I wonder how they are going to counter any racist claims that blacks are inherently dumber than whites for the same reason.

I agree completely. If there are any 200 year old slaves running (or walking) around they should be set free and given free health care. If you have never been a slave stop bitching!!!!! Get off your a$$ and get an education and a job. Help yourself. What do the African-Americans (I thought we were all Americans)plan to give the Jews as reparations for slavery in Egypt (it's in Africa remember)?

You know, I'm betting that the slaves of that period hardly got much junk food, or too many cigarettes at all. They probably got a diet of whatever was grow there, or nearby, and probably were in great shape from hard work and lean living. The real crime alleged here happened after the slaves were freed by an ocean of civil war blood. Maybe they were done a disservice?
